Job Summary: The Director of Event Sales is responsible for overseeing the event sales and catering departments of Chiles Hospitality (chileshospitalityevents.com). Sees that Catering Managers respond in a timely manner and work with the client on planning, site inspections, selling, up- selling and detailing catering menus to meet their respective F&B; minimums. Follows up with the Catering Sales Managers to ensure all function details, such as space requirements, publicity, time schedule, food/beverage service, entertainment and decorations are properly booked for maximum revenue opportunities. Works with marketing and retail to select swag and retail items to upsell or provide VIP amenities Required Skills/Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
