Director of Event Sales

This role involves identifying and securing new business opportunities, achieving sales objectives, and managing the coordination and successful execution of medium- and large-scale events. The ideal candidate will also play a crucial role in developing our catering program and fostering relationships with key event organizations to enhance our market presence. Relationship Management: • Build and maintain strong relationships with event organizations and vendors • Represent the company at industry networking events • Develop partnerships that drive long-term business growth and brand recognition Qualifications & Requirements: • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or a related role • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets • Strong knowledge of event planning, catering programs, and hospitality operations • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and event management software • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed Ability to Relocate: • Portland, OR 97214: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
