As the Director of Events, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive events strategy that aligns with Lumen's goals and objectives. Source and manage relevant 3rd-party vendors.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, such as Sales, Product, Brand & Creative, Product & Solutions Marketing, Corporate Communications.Ensure that all events are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.Measure and report on the effectiveness and ROI of each event, using data and feedback to optimize future events.Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in event marketing, and identify new opportunities and platforms for event promotion.Build and lead a high-performing team of event specialists, and provide them with guidance and support.What We Look For in a CandidateBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.At least 10 years of proven experience in event marketing, preferably in a B2B technology company.Strong knowledge and skills in event planning, production, and management, across various formats and channels.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse audiences and stakeholders.Creative, strategic, and analytical mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and solve problems.Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in using event management tools and software.Willingness and ability to travel as needed, depending on the event requirements.CompensationThe starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location.
