Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position is responsible for the day-to-day operation, activities and functions of the Events and Facilities Departments. • Provides leadership and resources for Event Managers and Coordinators pertaining to the technical aspects of event management. • Manages all logistics of events booked at HCC. • Experience successfully managing and planning high profile events. • Ability to stand or otherwise remain in a stationary position for several hours • Ability to walk or otherwise move about frequently for several hours • Must have the ability to work harmoniously in a team setting exhibiting the “Aloha Spirit” to fellow workers, guests, clients and the community so as to provide exceptional customer service while demonstrating behaviors that reflect the Hawai‘i Convention Center’s vision, mission statement and values.
