Position Title Director of Events and Stewardship Banner Position Number 001366 E-Class NC - Nonclassified - .53 or > Department Athletic Development - MU7006 Job Description The Director of Events and Stewardship is responsible for the comprehensive planning, execution, and evaluation of Championship Fund events that support all Marshall Athletics sport programs, and This position plays a key role in advancing the Big Green through fundraising, donor cultivation, and stewardship objectives by delivering high-quality event experiences aligned with institutional and coaching priorities. This position works closely with head coaches, athletics leadership, development officers, and external partners to strategically leverage events as a tool for revenue generation, donor engagement, and long-term relationship building. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all Championship Fund and special events across all sports, including fundraising, cultivation, stewardship, and recognition events. Required Qualifications Experience Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an athletic fundraising role required.
