Key Responsibilities: • Facilities Management: • Supervise maintenance and upkeep of health and wellbeing facilities • Manage large-scale facility improvement projects • Collaborate with relevant departments to implement sustainability initiatives within facilities • Oversee the development and execution of preventive maintenance programs • Space Planning and Utilization: • Strategically plan and allocate spaces within health and wellbeing facilities to optimize functionality and user experience • Work closely with architects and contractors during the design and construction phases of new facilities or renovations • Coordinate with campus planning to align health and wellbeing spaces with overall campus development • Event Management: • Collaborate with university departments and external partners to organize large-scale events that enhance the campus community's health awareness • Manage logistics, budgeting, and vendor relationships for events • Team Leadership: • Supervise a team of facilities and event management professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that aligns with the university's values • Compliance and Risk Management: • Ensure facilities and events comply with all relevant regulations and safety standards • Develop and implement risk-management protocols to mitigate potential liabilities associated with facilities and events.
