The successful candidate will demonstrate strong managerial skills and professional experience in live event production for in-venue, broadcast, and streaming platforms, as well as the ability to teach college-level Multiple Camera Production and Video Workshop courses. Preference will be given to candidates who can contribute to the development of the College’s live event production facilities and build connections with internal and external clients. In addition to teaching two courses per semester, the Director of Live Event Production and Instruction will serve as unit head and oversee live event production operations within the College of Communication and Information, including planning and budgeting, client proposals and contracts, facility operations and management, and personnel and production supervision. Other responsibilities include: • Collaborate with internal and external clients, University leadership and personnel, students, freelancers, and vendors, to develop and deliver live content for in-venue, broadcast, and streaming platforms. • Ability to successfully work with university students, including in one-on-one, classroom, and professional live production settings.
