What You'll DoShape the strategy. Partner with the SVP of Sales, VP of Sales – East Coast, and local General Manager to build and carry out a strategic sales plan for the DMV market.Drive growth. Find and pursue opportunities in emerging markets, forging new partnerships and business relationships for Curated Events.Build your team. Recruit, hire, lead, and develop a talented team of Event Sales Consultants.Coach for excellence. Mentor your team in consultative selling, client engagement, and professional growth.Own key relationships. Cultivate lasting partnerships with clients, venues, and industry partners, and step in personally on strategic accounts and complex situations.Lead with data. Use CRM tools and sales KPIs to improve team performance and grow key accounts.Protect profitability. Make sure every contract is priced competitively and on time while protecting margins.Be the face of the brand. Represent Curated Events at industry events across DC, Maryland, and Virginia to build new partnerships and stay ahead of market trends.Know the product inside and out. Work closely with Operations to master our product line and logistics.What You Bring3–5 years of sales or sales management experience, ideally in hospitality, events, or managed servicesA proven track record of building and developing high-performing sales teamsDeep expertise in consultative, relationship-driven, solution-oriented sellingStrong business development skills and a talent for spotting and capturing growth opportunitiesExperience in both B2B and B2C salesEstablished connections in one or more of these event sectors:Corporate and business eventsWeddings and social eventsUniversity and campus eventsVenues, catering, or event planningExceptional verbal and written communicationStrong leadership and team-building abilitiesA proactive, analytical mindset with sharp problem-solving skillsProficiency with CRM platforms and sales performance metricsConfidence creating and delivering prospect presentations and client business reviewsSolid understanding of P&L and budget managementLocationBased in the DMV region, with regular travel to our Leesburg, VA; Tysons Corner, VA; and Frederick, MD locationsWhy Join UsWe're a growing company with big dreams, and we're looking for a leader to help us achieve them.
