The Director of Special Events reports to the President of the Chamber. The position is responsible for all aspects of planning and production of the special events department, including budget management, sponsorships, volunteer management, marketing, and community outreach. • This is an in-person position based at the Washington County Chamber of Commerce. Market to companies, organizations and individuals and maintain relations with the Leading Investors and other sponsors throughout the year. • Maintaining a current roster of Council members with contact information • Developing, in concert with the Chair and Vice Chair, the monthly meeting Agenda • Distribution of the monthly meeting agenda with advance notice to Council members • Schedule any meeting rooms required for the monthly meeting • Guiding the development of the annual Council budget and sponsorship opportunities for any planned events/activities.
