Director of Special Events

Reporting to the Vice President for University Advancement, the... Director of Special Events conceptualizes, plans, executes, and evaluates all on-campus and off campus special and social events sponsored by University Advancement staff and volunteers. • Works with the Development team to implement Campaign events on and off campus. • Develops the agenda for all major events and distributes information regarding events to all parties involved including the President, Vice President for University Advancement, and other individuals involved with the events in the days prior to each event. • Ability to plan ahead and involve a team. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.
