The Maryland Center for History and Culture seeks an enthusiastic Director of Special Events and Group Sales to join a knowledgeable and dedicated Operations team. Through representing MCHC at various tourism related organizations, this position is also responsible for keeping the MCHC staff aware of potential community collaborations and/or partnerships related to the tourism industry. · Communicate with Visitor Experience and Facilities staff to assist with scheduling and to troubleshoot and ensure that all aspects of events are supported; ● 3-5 years of experience in the events management/ sales field required; This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, exempt position offering a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, and a health savings account.
