Kona Ice of Winston-Salem is hiring energetic, dependable drivers to operate our shaved ice truck at school events, sports tournaments, festivals, corporate events, neighborhood gatherings, and private parties. Starting pay: $14.50/hour + tips! You’ll drive to events, set up, serve guests with a positive attitude, and close out the event with accurate cash handling and sales reporting. Must be at least 18 years old.Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Must be drug & alcohol free; a criminal background check will be required.Must have reliable transportation to/from our warehouse.Must be dependable and punctual; able to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.Must be comfortable driving a large vehicle and working outdoors in the heat/cold for a full shift.Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.Must be accurate with simple math, cash handling, and following procedures.Must be friendly and confident communicating with kids, parents, and customers of all ages. We’re mobile, so your “office” changes every day—you’ll be out in the community meeting new people and creating smiles at events of all kinds.
