In this role, you'll support DPAC's 400+ Event Staff (House Managers, Ushers, Ticket Takers, Entry Screeners) and Volunteer Wayfinders in welcoming guests to more than 200 events each year. What You'll Do Oversee and support a department of over 150 part-time staff (including Event Staff + two part-time admin staff) and 250 volunteers Set staffing levels and manage monthly schedule drops for event staff in WhentoWork Complete weekly payroll for part-time staff Assure timely and accurate submission of settlement documents and estimates Manage the annual hiring and onboarding of new and returning event staff Plan annual orientation and training event for part-time staff and volunteers Advance and coordinate all FOH show needs including VIP activations, Yondr ingress setups, and seating holds In collaboration with DPAC's Guest Experience Manager, investigate event-related complaints to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolutions Facilitate proper inter-departmental communications and organization Organize and execute private events to ensure client satisfaction while adhering to building policies Maintain and update department resources including handbooks, reports, and training materials Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external customers What You'll Bring A four (4) year degree in business, event management or related field is preferred. Knowledge of WhentoWork and Paylocity is preferred but not essential. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus (fiscal year July 1 to June 30) based on a combination of venue profitability, department performance and personal performance.
