Emergency Management and Special Events Planner

Job Overview Your primary responsibility will be to plan, coordinate, and execute special events and emergency responses across the campus. • Consult on events being planned within the jurisdiction of the University • Coordinate with external partners on events being planned adjacent to it • Conduct risk assessments for events and provide recommendations/requirements for staffing and threat mitigation Additionally, you will develop and disseminate comprehensive operations plans for events, manage Incident Command (ICS) responsibilities for the organization, and ensure compliance with NFPA and FEMA best practices. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and three years of experience in emergency management and special event planning are required.
