Responsible for working with the University Events team, partners across campus, and external parties, the Event Administration Manager is responsible for the scheduling of campus facilities for all events hosted at Seattle University to further the university’s educational mission, strategic, and business plans. As the Event Administration Manager and their team is often the first contact campus partners have with University Events, this position oversees prompt and professional communication and operations of the University Events front desk year-round as well as residence hall front desks during the summer conference season. This position is responsible for maintaining compliance with university policies and procedures, as well as public regulations as they relate to facilities scheduling and other areas relevant to the position. Reporting to the Director of University Events, the Event Administration Manager oversees facilities space reservations for all events, meetings, and conference spaces on Seattle University’s campus under the purview of the University Events office. • Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures related to University Signature, Essential and Special Designation events to ensure proper enforcement of policies as well as administration of the application, approval process and status of such events.
