Event and Business Development Support Specialist

Overview This individual will organize and execute with BD team all conferences and customer presentations in an efficient and cost-effective manner with guidance from the VP of Business Development. Duties and Responsibilities: • Organization and execution of industry conferences and association memberships • Communicate consistently with BD team all upcoming events / presentations for optimal effectiveness • Learn and understand TMC deliverables with the support of BD team • Obtain quarterly updates from TMC departments for master presentation revisions • Work with the Business Development Team to identify business opportunities based on research that is consistent with the company’s overall strategy • Research support for Business Development c-suite meetings and potential customers • Provide Business Development Team with trends and track effective strategies • Participate in Business Development tactical meetings • Request for Proposal (RFP) support • Provide training on technology used by Business Development • Manage data in Salesforce.com and provide reports • Support Brand department in interactions with Business Development • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred • Excellent customer service skills • Detail oriented • Excellent organization and time management skills • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM Software preferred • Strong research and analytical skills • Ability to work collaboratively with a team • Self-motivation, self-management, and professionalism • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint) • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus • Ability to lift 20 lbs.
