Event and Community Outreach Coordinator

Work requires knowledge of the applicable laws, techniques, methods, and procedures, as well as the use of specialized skills which are acquired through a combination of training and on the job experience. • Performs related work as required. Open Requirements/Supplemental Information • Four years of education and/or experience in event planning, community outreach, public relations, or a related field, preferably within a nonprofit or animal welfare organization. • Must qualify for prior to appointment, obtain, and maintain during employment in this class a City of Jacksonville certification as a public driver. • ACPS is part of the City of Jacksonville’s emergency response operations.
