Hope Ignites St. Louis is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Manager to plan, execute, and promote our signature fundraising events, including our Annual Gala, Golf Tournament, and Holiday Boutique. This role combines event management with marketing and social media responsibilities to ensure high-impact events that support our mission and strengthen our community presence. Event Management: • Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of major fundraising events (Annual Gala, Golf Tournament, Holiday Boutique) • Collaborate with the Programs team on other event needs related to our scholars (Back-to-school bash, Christmas Party, Graduation Party, Awards Ceremony) and manage implementation of those events • Develop event timelines, budgets, and checklists to ensure successful outcomes • Secure venues, vendors, signage, in-kind donations, and other needs specific to the event • Manage event volunteer committees for planning and execution – including monthly meetings and training for volunteers as needed • Manage event registration platforms, guest lists, seating charts, and ticket sales • Coordinate communication with confirmed sponsors for creative needs • Maintain all necessary records associated with each event, communicating with the Development Director and development team to ensure all revenues are documented correctly and collected in a timely fashion • Lead on-site event execution and post-event follow-up, including thank-yous and reporting • Lead post-event analysis - evaluating the success of events and identifying areas for improvement Brand/Organization Marketing: • Note – based on experience, there is an opportunity to play a more significant role in the overall marketing needs for the organization: • Work with the Marketing Committee, current Marketing Consultant and Executive Director to develop an annual Marketing and Communications plan • Establish goals and objectives to reach donors, volunteers, and stakeholders with appropriate marketing channels (digital and traditional) • Promote brand awareness through marketing efforts expanding the marketing reach to engage more individuals in each target audience group • Create and/or manage development of marketing materials to increase the donor base and build community awareness • Assist with providing tools and guidance to empower staff, board members and volunteers to communicate the mission effectively • Analyze marking data including campaign reports, conversion rates, online traffic, and other data to improve marking strategies and campaigns Compensation & Benefits: • Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 (commensurate with experience) • Benefits Include: • Group Health and Dental Insurance • Employer-Paid Term Life Insurance with AD&D • Paid time off (PTO) days commensurate with your tenure and 12 paid holidays per year • STD/LTD Insurance • 125 Flex Benefit Plan (medical and dependent care) • Voluntary Vision Plan • Voluntary Term Life Insurance Plan • Education Assistance Plan • 401 K Plan with employer match
