Event and Tradeshow Planner

Position Overview Responsibilities Event Planning & Coordination • Develop and manage the overall event timeline and production schedule • Coordinate with the marina, local agencies, and event partners • Manage event layout including exhibitor areas and attendee flow • Coordinate permits, insurance requirements, and safety planning Event Execution • Manage event day operations • Troubleshoot logistics issues in real time • Coordinate with media, sponsors, and VIP guests • Ensure smooth setup and teardown Preferred candidates will have: • 3–5+ years event planning or festival production experience • Experience with large outdoor events or trade shows • Strong project management and organizational skills • Ability to manage vendors, partners, and volunteers • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Ability to travel within California
