We’re currently seeking an Event Assistant to support the execution of impactful charity events, while helping to drive fundraising success through effective sales and community engagement. You’ll gain hands-on experience in event sales, donor relations, and nonprofit outreach, all while working alongside a passionate team committed to making a difference. Daily Duties of the Event Assistant: • Drive fundraising success through direct sales efforts, engaging with customers and securing donations for the charity • Support onsite event operations including setup, event management and customer experience • Represent the charity with genuine care and enthusiasm ensuring utmost of compliance • Track sales and fundraising metrics using company tools • Collaborate with fellow Event Assistants to ensure successful event management and achieving team sales goals • Attend sales training sessions, professional development meetings and shadow Senior Event Assistants to ensure professional growth and sales skills development Key Qualities of the Event Assistant: • Previous experience as an Event assistant or in a sales role an asset but not mandatory • Genuine passion for charitable causes and community impact • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently engage with diverse customers • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, team-driven environment • Highly organized with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving • Professional, reliable, and enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to representing the charity’s values
