Job Summary: The Event Staff Assistant of the West Virginia Botanic Garden, Inc. (WVBG) serves as an assistant for the Event Sales Manager who will assign roles such as: preparing venues for events, greeting guests, and other duties required by the venue. The Event Sales Manager will meet with the Event Staff Assistant to review their performance monthly. The Event Staff Assistant reports directly to the Event Sales Manager and is expected to communicate work plans with their supervisor. Requirements: • Self-motivated, organized, confident person who is eager to assist in the management of the venue • Able to lift chairs, assist with tables, and misc.
