Event Assitant Manager

Responsibilities • Consistently demonstrate Sky Zone’s core values (Make it Fun, Keep it Safe, Be Healthy, Do Good and Deliver WoW) for Team Members and Guests • Create action plans to grow the business through relationships in the community and community outreach initiatives • Understand local market and successfully integrate the Sky Zone brand to drive revenue • Deliver on the park’s monthly department goals • Coordinate with the Sky Zone Home Zone (corporate office) to implement approved programming, events, and promotions • Lead sales and street teams to find leads and generate energy around the Sky Zone brand in the community • Adopt and maintain Sky Zone standards, policies and procedures at all times including but not limited to: waiver policy, ASTM standards, court rules, guest service, food safety, etc. • Stay current with the Sky Zone Home Zone (corporate office) communication and relay important messages to members of the park team • Provide the team with a welcoming and mutually supportive work environment • Resolve guest service issues with discretion and professionalism • Ensure Team Members are knowledgeable about all products, programs and promotions offered • Advocate for guest safety and satisfaction • Functions as Manager on Duty as necessary (see below) • Other duties as assigned In addition, the MOD is tasked with ensuring the park is a safe and fun environment by conducting park walks to support the team, interact with guests and observe and fix any problems with courts and system operations. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience • Previous sales and marketing experience required • Proven ability to create and maintain relationships in the community with local schools, business and other organizations • Previous experience in a guest-facing environment • Ability to solve problems under pressure while maintaining a fun, friendly environment • Previous management experience with new-to-the-workforce, part-time staff • Ability to work nights and weekends
