We bring a premium cafe experience to brand activations, corporate events, and film production sets across Southern California. We are a small, growing team that cares deeply about craft, hospitality, and showing up with professionalism at every event.The roleYou will work alongside our Event Lead to deliver exceptional coffee service at events across LA. Your responsibility starts when you arrive on-site and centers around one thing: delivering a polished, high-quality experience for every guest, every time.Shifts run 3 to 6 hours on-site. We typically run about 12 events per month. Strong performers have a clear path to grow into an Event Lead or Production Lead role.Key ResponsibilitiesCoffee Excellence: Dial in espresso before service and maintain consistent drink quality from the first shot to the last. Beautiful drinks every time, even when the line is long.Latte Art: Produce clean, consistent latte art on every milk drink. Tulip is our baseline standard. Hospitality: Make every guest feel seen and celebrated. You are not just making coffee, you are creating a moment.Ambassador Vibes: You are the face of Pulo Coffee on-site. Show up polished, professional, and personable. Personal style is welcome when the event dress code allows.Operational Intelligence: If you LOVE checklists, this is the right fit for you. Follow our event brief and checklist for every event. Every location is different and your preparation is what makes it look effortless.Setup and Breakdown: Support the Event Lead with light setup and breakdown at the start and end of each shift. Keep your station clean, organized, and visually on-brand throughout.QualificationsWe call it Operational Intelligence. It means you do not just make great coffee. You follow systems, read the room, anticipate problems, and show up prepared every single time. And when something does not go as planned, because at events it always does, you stay calm, think on your feet, and find a way to make it work without missing a beat.Experience: Some coffee experience, we're happy to trainTechnical Skill: Strong espresso fundamentals including independent shot dialing and milk steamingEvent Readiness: Comfortable in mobile, fast-changing environments with different setups, clients, and guests at every eventHospitality: Genuine guest-first instincts. You make people feel seen and celebrated, not just servedPhysical Capability: Must be able to lift and move 65+ lbs and stand for 8+ hoursReliability: Punctual, dependable, and available on weekends. Early call times are commonCoachability: Comfortable working within someone else's system and taking direction from an Event LeadTransportation: Valid California driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation ideally an SUV or larger. You must be based in the Los Angeles area. We are not able to consider applicants from Orange County, the Inland Empire, or other surrounding regions.We promote from within.
