Event Bartender

Pay: $22-$25/hour + cash tips ($25 for Toast-experienced bartenders)

The Nomi Village is North Miami's new outdoor arts and entertainment venue, home to live music, cultural events, private celebrations, and ticketed shows under the open sky. We're staffing our upcoming events on a per-event basis and looking for experienced hospitality bartenders to join us.

We want hospitality professionals, not just nightlife bartenders. If you've worked banquets, catering, hotel bars, festivals, or full-service restaurants and you take pride in the guest experience, we'd like to hear from you. You should arrive ready to work: this role is for bartenders who already know their craft.

What you'll do

Set up, run, and break down an outdoor bar during events
Serve beer, wine, and cocktails quickly and accurately at volume
Ring every order in Toast POS using your personal login, and close out payments accurately
Check IDs and serve responsibly
Follow standard pours and venue cash-handling procedures
Keep the bar clean, stocked, and guest-ready throughout the event

What you need

2+ years of bartending experience in restaurants, hotels, catering, or events
Toast POS experience strongly preferred. Confident on any modern POS required.
21+ with valid ID
Available Saturday 9/26, [shift time, 8 PM – 2:30 AM]
Able to attend one pre-event orientation: Thursday 9/24, 6pm - 7pm
Comfortable working outdoors in Miami weather and standing for long shifts
Reliable transportation to North Miami
Food handler or responsible alcohol service certification is a plus

When The Nomi Village opens, we plan to hire our permanent bar team from our event staff. Work our events, get to know the venue, and be first in line.
A professional, organized event team

Onboarding for this role is handled through our staffing partner. Selected candidates will complete a short onboarding before the event.
