The Event Concierge is often the liaison between the hotel and the meeting planner. • Monitor all client communication such as Phone, ECA App, Text Group and provide immediate responses to Meeting Planner requests • Supporting Meeting Planners and Operations team to ensure events are set as per Daily Detail Report • Proactive walkthrough of event space to maintain quality and reporting defects to Engineering & Events Leadership. • Daily walkthrough for cleanliness and accuracy of event set up and act immediately when correction is required • Monitor and assist with directing meeting attendees this may include elevator or escalator control • Service recovery – work with hotel partners to recover service levels • Responsible for tracking boxes and shipments, delivering meeting planner supplies, and anticipating potential opportunities before they occur. • Works closely with Catering Sales, Planning managers and Director of Events on other duties, responsibilities assigned as necessary. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
