The Idaho Manufacturing Alliance (IMA) is a state-wide membership organization focused on connecting, supporting, and promoting the manufacturing industry within Idaho. Prefer proven experience in a related field, with a track record in a fast-paced, production environment; • Manufacturing industry or corporate event planning experience a strong plus • Tradeshow and Conference experience preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail • Skilled in project management: must be highly organized, proactive, detail and deadline oriented with ability to handle multiple priorities at once. IMA is seeking an experienced and highly organized Event & Conference Planner to produce events from conception through completion. The candidate must be able to work well within time limits to plan, resource, and oversee the events. Major Responsibilities • Oversee the organization event calendar in conjunction with the IMA team • Oversee planning and execution of conferences, meetings, workshops, site tours and other events as needed both in-person and virtual • Negotiate prices with vendors, manage event budget • Manage speaker placements for conferences and/or speaking engagements • Manage industry associations partnerships and joint events • Manage event marketing in collaboration with the team • Manage webcasts from conception to execution including marketing and speaker preparations • Coordinate with internal team, vendors and others to establish needs for events and serve as liaison to senior level executives throughout the planning process • Managing set-up, tear-down, and clean-up operations • Stay current and ahead of the curve, on event planning, design, and production trends
