POSITION SUMMARY
As an Event Coordination Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all aspects of events are coordinated smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
Meeting with group coordinators and hosts before events to establish connections and confirm all arrangements.Reviewing and analyzing banquet event orders to gather guest information and finalize setup details.Responding to special requests from guests and following up to ensure these arrangements are met.Adhering to company safety and security policies and reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions to your manager.Maintaining a professional appearance, confidentiality, and protecting company assets.Providing exceptional guest service by welcoming and acknowledging guests, anticipating their needs, and expressing gratitude.Developing strong working relationships with team members and supporting collective goals.Ensuring all quality expectations and standards are met for various events.Physically managing tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting objects up to 25 pounds.Performing additional duties as assigned by supervisors.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year in a related role.
Supervisory Experience: None required.
License or Certification: None necessary.
