Responsibilities • Schedule and conduct tours/appointments with potential clients • Go through the booking process with clients (contract, deposit, etc) • Planning all aspects of events (timelines, floor plans, vendor follow up, set up & cleanup) • Working with our clients and vendors during the events to ensure their overall success • Manage front of the house staff during events (bartenders, servers, etc) • Plan and be on site for food tastings and ceremony rehearsals • Work Tuesday through Thursday in office setting • Work rotating event shifts on the weekends • Evaluate event's success and follow up with client Skills • Be detail oriented and have an eye for event design • Have proper written and verbal communication skills, especially via email • Proficient in Excel and Word • Excellent vendor management skills • Have strong people skills • Well-organized with multi-tasking skills • Able to handle stress and remain calm • Problem-solving ability • Degree in hospitality management, public relations or relevant field is preferred but not required • Experience in catering/events is not required but a plus, will pay more for this experience
