Event Coordinator Responsibilities: - Plan, organize and execute corporate events and trade shows from start to finish - Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions, and track expenses - Develop project plans, timelines, and critical paths for each event and... ensure that all stakeholders are aligned and informed - Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and engineering to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives - Conduct site visits, manage logistics, and coordinate travel arrangements for attendees, speakers, and staff - Prepare and manage event materials including event signage, registration, and promotional materials - Manage post-event evaluation and feedback process to continuously improve event performance - Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to ensure innovative event experiences - Would report to the Director of Sales Operations - Hybrid position, remote and in the office in Norwalk, Connecticut - Some Travel will be required Event Coordinator Required Skills & Education: - Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning, with a focus on corporate events and trade shows - Proven experience in project management and execution - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and executives - Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
