The Event Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, management, organization and execution of all winery and private events at Barnard Griffin Winery. This can be a full time position or part-time, depending on the availability of the right candidate. Job Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Preferred 4 years of industry experience Detailed knowledge of Washington State wine Capable of exceeding sales goals Ability to work independently Excellent communication skills Exceptional customer service skills Ability to lift 50lbs Job Responsibilities: Create, plan and execute events on behalf of Barnard Griffin Plan, manage and execute all private events Event contract development and execution Maintain excellent records and financial analysis of each event Work closely with Director of Hospitality to reach revenue goals Schedule and supervise staff members that work during events Assist with the production of advertising materials for private events Maintain and manage company event calendar Respond to event inquiries promptly and professionally Promote company and event space through external community involvement when applicable Compensation starts at $20 per hour, plus gratuity and commission. If working 30 hours per week, the candidate hired will also receive full company benefits which include, medical, vision, 401k matching, profit sharing and paid time off.
