The Event Coordinator will serve as the point of contact for events at the O’Brien Community Center, promoting an inclusive, safe environment for visitors. Job Qualifications: • Experience working with people from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds and an unwavering commitment to diversity, inclusion, and excellent service with a focus on cultural awareness and sensitivity are essential • Experience working in hospitality, retail, events, catering or other customer service setting is strongly preferred • English fluency is required, multi-language fluency is a strong plus • Must exhibit a positive attitude, professionalism, and utmost respect • Excellent written and verbal communication, self-motivation, decision-making, and people skills are a must • Must have a strong ability to diffuse conflict, anticipate needs, and remain calm in high pressure situations • Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment, read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals • Basic technology and computer skills are required • Reliable transportation is required • Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check Required The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this job.
