The Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning and execution of North America's industry conferences and workshops, in addition to multiple formats of Company sponsored programs. They will work closely with the marketing team and report to the Brand Director. Duties: • Planning, directing, and executing trade show workshops and special events from initiation to implementation • Developing planning documents and recap reports upon project completion • Engaging in post event evaluation and lead generation • Managing the scheduling, inventory, and deployment of company event resources • Securing all necessary resources, equipment, materials, etc for events • Negotiating contracts with suitable venues, coordinating logistics and other event components with venue staff • Tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities • Identifying vendors and coordinating vendor activities • Developing marketing strategies including social media campaigns • Developing contingency plans to address potential risks associated with events • Organizing themed activities, workshops, breakout sessions, etc that align with event objectives • Sourcing and coordinating entertainment such as live bands, DJs, interactive experiences, etc. to engage attendees
