The role of Event Coordinator at Downtown Rescue Mission is a dynamic, part-time position pivotal to the success of the organization’s fundraising and outreach efforts. This position reports directly to the Marketing Manager and is designed for someone with a passion for event management, combined with a commitment to the mission and values of DRM. Upholds DRM’s mission and maintains a positive attitude and moral Christian image Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a minimum of 2 years of event management experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within deadlines Problem-solving ability both independently and in a team setting Experience creating managing and reconciling event budgets Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Understanding of vendor and service contracts including key terms and obligations Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Willingness to work on occasional evenings or weekends Ability to sit and stand for long periods and lift 30 lbs unassisted OysterLink simplifies hospitality hiring.
