The Event Coordinator role will be responsible for assisting with the implementation and coordination of experiential events where the brand authentically and personally connects with all audiences with a focus on multicultural audiences. Support and advance strategic marketing promotions plans via experiential marketing and partnerships designed to engage, attract, and retrain new and existing customers with a focus on multicultural engagement in creative, messaging and marketing-communication channels, specifically experiential marketing and community partnerships. • Support the ongoing development, refinement and evolution of the Public Affairs team’s experiential marketing and external partnership strategies through partnerships to drive ridership and fare programs with multicultural audiences. • Manage, coordinate and implement/activate event productions including permitting, marketing assets, event site preparation, outreach vehicle deployment and third party staffing to meet department and agency goals. • 5+ years of relevant experience in event production/experiential marketing, creative and messaging development specific to multicultural community groups, and in multiple languages preferred.
