Position Qualifications: • Proven skill and proficiency in the development and implementation of special events to support organizational fundraising goals • Able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver concise, understandable, and effective correspondence, proposals, reports, and event materials • Demonstrate experience identifying, recruiting, and managing volunteers • Results-oriented with experience working with and through groups to achieve desired outcomes • Skilled in researching and identifying vendors and prospective in-kind donors • Social media and website management knowledge preferred Position Report to: Hours: • Aug-May: 20 hours per week (more during event if necessary) hybrid at-home/in office • June-July: negotiable depending on desired work schedule Experience: • non-profit fundraising: 1 year (Preferred) • Events management: 3 years (Required)
