Canapés Catering is Frederick's premiere caterer and we are seeking to add a Catering Sales and Event Coordinator to our talented team. Job Responsibilities • Performing general office duties to support sales (e.g., filing, sending emails, answering phone calls, copying) • Responding to client inquiries in a timely and appropriate manner in both the social and corporate markets • Acting as the main point of contact for the client through the entire planning process, from the initial inquiry to the day of the event • Qualifying our clients to make sure we can work within their budgets • Drafting official event paperwork including proposals, invoices, contracts rental lists, pull sheets, floorplans, timelines, etc. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to interact respectfully with people of diverse backgrounds, perspectives and cultures • Ability to drive company vehicles and rental trucks • Ability to perform well under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills, to start execute each event with the finest precision • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time • Ability to be on your feet for 10+ hours and able to lift up to 50lbs • 1-3 years of previous experience in sales preferred • 1-3 years of previous experience in catering or restaurant industry preferred • Minimum 2 year's of college education preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook and QuickBooks To Apply: Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
