Has a background in hospitality in numerous departments, floor experience, management, cooking, food and beverage. Responsibilities • Plan, organize, and coordinate all aspects of events from conception to completion • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality events • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences • Provide exceptional customer service before and after events • Upsell additional services or amenities to enhance the event experience • Oversee details covering event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure everything runs smoothly • Able to create detailed layouts and plans for events that are clear through written word only. Skills • Proven experience in events management and event planning • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively • Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and team members • Knowledge of banquet operations, restaurant services, and catering practices • Proficient in budgeting and financial management for events • Customer service-oriented with a focus on exceeding client expectations • Organizational skills to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously • Food prep/execution/presentation knowledge • Basic wine/Bar/Beer knowledge • 2 years of Total Party Planner or other catering planning application experience preferred.
