As the largest local Realtor® association in Colorado, with over 8,000 members, DMAR advocates, educates and provides professional development for Realtors® and industry partners to enhance their success in the industry. As the Events Coordinator, this role will play a key part in the day to day planning and execution of large association-wide events, as well as independently managing small events. Reporting directly to the Director of Member Experience and Association Engagement, the successful candidate will bring a strong organizational skill set, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences. Collaborate with the Events Direcotor in the planning and execution of large-scale events to include, but not limited to: • Event scheduling (coordination across multiple calendars) • Venue selection • Catering • Audio visual requirements • On-site execution • Assist with tracking event sponsorships from invoicing to payment collection. Qualifications and Skills • Demonstrated go-getter mentality with a proactive approach to tasks and challenges • Experience in event planning, programming and execution a plus • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team • Ability to take initiative, set goals and drive toward successful outcomes • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once • Strong organizational and planning skills • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point • Knowledge of Outlook including email and calendar functions, Eventbrite, Zoom • Tech savvy - willing and eager to learn new programs/software • Experience in the real estate industry preferred, but not required • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
