Responsibilities • Plan, coordinate, and execute event details according to client needs in a timely manner • Maintain constant communication with all departments and clients before and during events • Coordinate communications between building departments and event staff during load-in and load-out • Keep clients informed of all expected expenses and report final settlement • Lead event discussions during weekly staff meetings to ensure all departments are informed • Develop positive relationships with clients and staff • Collaborate with the Director of Events and Sales to create safety and security plans for each event • Supervise part-time employees and third-party labor during events • Act as Manager on Duty during assigned events Experience Requirements • At least two years of relevant experience in event coordination or management • Proven ability to lead and manage events successfully Why work in Florence, SC Florence, SC offers a welcoming community with a rich history and vibrant culture.
