Savage is hiring an Event Coordinator to join our Communications team in Midvale, UT. This position will also support the Marketing team for external events. What You Will Be Doing: Assist in establishing an events strategy across the organization that effectively reinforces the company's purpose, mission, values, and key business goals, and builds engagement among our Team Members Organize, plan, and execute the coordination of company events & activities Take the lead on planning and coordinating all logistics for Savage’s annual Leaders Forum – a multi-day conference for leaders at Savage Act as a liaison with outside vendors for printing, video, electronic or virtual production, and other resources needed for projects and events Partner with other departments and committees across the organization to support their events and coordinate company activities Establish key metrics/develop key relationships with Team Members to evaluate the success of events, and adjust accordingly Assist with organizing and implementing volunteer activities Assist the communications and marketing departments with other initiatives as needed 7+ years of event planning and management experience Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, English, or related field is preferred Commitment to Savage values (Do the right thing.
