Reporting to the Executive Director of University Events, the Event Coordinator is responsible for providing event scheduling and planning assistance to the university. • Work with the Assistant Director of University Events on the management of the UCC event spaces and equipment/furniture inventory for that building • Serve as a resource for audio/visual needs at meetings and events in UCC • Support the events team in larger events as needed and in all campus-wide events (such as Alumni Weekend, Commencement, Convocation, etc.) Candidates should possess the following qualifications: • Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience • 3 years of events or event planning experience, preferred • Working knowledge of EMS is a plus • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work effectively within a team environment as well as independently • Must have professional verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact with all members of the Stevens community and visitors in a professional manner.
