The Events Department at CityFlatsHotel is seeking an experienced and energetic individual for the position of Event Coordinator to manage gatherings, from planning to execution and post-event evaluation. Office/Venue Coordination: • Assist Event Sales Manager with inquiries and scheduling and executing tours as needed • Assist with updating & maintaining all inquiry and event management platforms as needed: - Update final BEOs and submit final invoices to clients Employee Coordination: • Assist with creating the monthly schedule for all banquet staff (bartenders and servers) as needed • Assist with interviewing & hiring banquet staff as needed • Assist in training new banquet staff • Manage banquet staff on day of event Qualifications & Skills: • Must be 18 years of age • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality with an emphasis on Event Planning & Management with one to two years’ experience in food and beverage and/or banquet and catering service • Work a flexible schedule including weekends (38-45 hours per week) • Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
