Thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, the Engagement & Events Manager will organize and direct events, ensure seamless volunteer experiences, manage vendor relationships, and drive event-based fundraising and community service. Technology and Tools Utilization: • Leverage event management software and technology platforms to streamline processes and enhance attendee experiences. • Heart for the mission of Families First: to build resilient families so all children can thrive • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage, prioritize, and successfully complete multiple projects at the same time • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive • Team player with a collaborative mindset • Exhibits a strong work ethic and a commitment to follow-through • Ability to cultivate and maintain effective relationships with board members, donors, volunteers, vendors, and staff • Proven aptitude to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals from various racial, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds • Capacity to work well under pressure • Familiarity with fundraising Qualifications • Must live in metro Atlanta. Hybrid: at least 2 days per week at the Families First main office in downtown Atlanta.
