Event Coordinator

Holiday Inn Express/Staybridge Suites Federal Way, Washington

Responsibilities: - Plan, organize, and execute events from start to finish - Coordinate with clients to understand their event goals and requirements - Develop event timelines and budgets - Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for event services and products - Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual setup - Coordinate event registration and ticketing processes - Oversee event setup, including decorations, signage, and seating arrangements - Ensure smooth event operations by coordinating with staff and volunteers - Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events - Evaluate the success of events and provide recommendations for improvement Requirements: - Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role - Strong organizational and time management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively - Proficient in using event... management software and tools - Knowledge of retail math for budgeting purposes is a plus - Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
