We're looking for an additional Event Coordinator to assist in event sales and event coordination/management of events at our busy wedding venue, The Briarcliff Manor. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for generating revenues for event catering sales, as well as the planning, follow through, administrative details, and managements of the... events. This is a Full Time Role. • Client Communication and Customer Service • Optimize revenues for event space, and food and beverage. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and customer management platform • Excellent selling and negotiating skills with strong market/industry knowledge • Customer Service Skills • Creative and innovative, as well as proactive and customer-oriented • Strong organizational skills & excellent time management • Previous Banquet/Event experience • Flexibility to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the venue including nights and weekends • Must have own transportation • People skills are a must
