CSTA is a non-profit membership organization that supports and promotes the teaching of computer science, providing opportunities for K–12 teachers and their students to better understand computer science and to more successfully prepare themselves to teach and learn. Our events provide educators with opportunities to connect with like-minded professionals from all over the world, to learn from their peers, and make an impact on the future on computer science education. As an Event Coordinator at CSTA, you will be instrumental in the success of these events by meticulously managing various aspects of event planning, with a primary focus on ensuring our sponsors have an outstanding experience and come back to sponsor year over year. In this role you’ll get an opportunity to work on events that range from intimate small group meetings focused on a key topics in the CS education space, to huge impactful moments at our annual conference. If you move forward, we’ll ask you to complete a brief exercise consistent with the typical work of this role, in preparation of interviews.
