The Marketing Event Coordinator role at Famous Supply offers an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about the behind-the-scenes coordination and logistics of live events and trade shows. This full-time position is located in Akron, Ohio, with travel requirements within the Famous Supply service footprint. The Marketing Event Coordinator works closely under the Marketing Event Manager in the marketing department to support the planning, organization, and flawless execution of corporate events, regional trade shows, and other customer-focused and internal events aligned with marketing initiatives and business goals.

This role emphasizes meticulous project coordination, vendor management, event logistics, and providing on-site event support. The coordinator handles vital responsibilities such as assisting with event timelines, venue coordination, material preparation, shipping logistics, and event budget tracking. Additionally, the position requires collaboration across several departments including marketing, eCommerce, sales, purchasing, and operations to ensure a unified and effective promotional message. This role demands excellent organizational skills, a detail-driven approach, and proficiency with Microsoft Office along with familiarity with project management tools. • Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, event management, or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in event coordination, project coordination, or a related field
• Experience assisting with event planning, trade shows, or project coordination
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• experience with project management tools is a plus
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks
