HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE: As the GRN Event Coordinator you will work with the Vice President of Mission Development and oversee the Volunteer Committees with the goal to organize unforgettable events that are in line with the mission of the Guadalupe Radio Network’s efforts of evangelization. WHAT YOU WILL DO: As the GRN Event Coordinator you will be responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and coordinating various types of events. and choose the best combination of quality and cost • Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms • Perform research in order to gain deep understanding of different requirements and details of each event • Orchestrate event in line with the mission of this ministry • Plan, schedule and organize agenda and speakers at event • Handle, coordinate and oversee all event operations • Track the overall event expenses regularly • Carefully supervise event preparation activities • Offer solutions to resolve problems in a timely manner • Analyze and evaluate event’s results • Create and present reports as to event results • Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.) • Proven experience as event coordinator • A proven track record of organizing successful events • Proficient in MS Office • Excellent vendor management skills • Knowledge of basic recruitment practices • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability • Ability to organize a Volunteer Committee to oversee the planning of the event • Well-organized with multi-tasking skills • Able to handle stress and remain calm • Problem-solving ability • Degree in hospitality management, public relations or relevant field is preferred We value the importance of work/ life balance, and welcome you as a GRN family member, not just an employee.
