Event Coordinator

If you are an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills, join the Champion Window team! Champion currently has an opening for an Event Coordinator. This position will locate, schedule, recommend, and oversee all shows and events, as well as manage many Marketing efforts in the local area.

Specific job duties of the Event Coordinator include:

Research and evaluate Divisional events and shows and books appropriate eventsReview staffing needs of upcoming events and schedule as neededHire Event Demonstrators and train on set up/tear down requirements, and performance expectationsSupervise Event Demonstrators and address any performance concernsDirect any employees who are assisting with showOversee all booth set up and tear downReport any problems with company display to Division Manager to ensure repairEnsure that Event Demonstrators are obtaining accurate and complete customer lead slipsAdhere to show/event budget and ensure there is an appropriate return on investment from eventsDemonstrate Champion’s products to customers at shows and answer questionsAdditional duties as assignedAs Event Coordinator you must be a self-motivated individual. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are critical for your success in this role.

Specific qualifications of the Event Coordinator include:

Associates degree in Business Management or related field2-5 years’ experience in retail management and/or SalesPrior experience in construction industry preferredAbility to lead a team of show promotersAble to oversee a budgetStrong organizational skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to stand for up to 8-10 hours;Must hold valid driver’s license, have a clean driving record, and be able to travel to events in Division by personal vehicle Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, while assisting with booth set up/tear down;Able to work standard retail hours, including evenings and weekends.
