About the Role:


Sandbox is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our team in Derby, KS! In this dynamic role, you'll bring events to life from concept to completion, creating memorable experiences that leave a lasting impression. If you're a detail-oriented organizer with a passion for people and events, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:


Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide variety of events from start to finish
Manage event logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, and scheduling
Develop and maintain event budgets, timelines, and project plans
Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless event execution
Oversee on-site event setup, management, and breakdown
Track event performance and prepare post-event reports and recaps
Collaborate with internal teams on marketing, promotions, and event branding


Requirements:


1-3 years of experience in event coordination, event planning, or a related field
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage budgets and negotiate with vendors
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or event management software
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
A positive, proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities
